Our Teacher is Mr Powell and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Waine. If you have any problems or questions, do not hesitate to talk to one of us at the door in the morning or afternoon.

What Sycamore are learning...
PE
Sycamore need to wear their PE uniforms to school on Tuesdays. If there are any other occasions, a message will be send via text.
Swimming lessons are on a Monday.
Homework
At the start of each week, Sycamore children are given a sheet containing all the homework for the week. It contains Daily Calculations (including TT Rockstars), spellings, expectations for daily reading (3 times a week for 20 minutes and signed by an adult) and a small weekly writing task. Each child has the login information for TT Rockstars in the front of their Daily Calculation book.

We did our class assembly about our RE topic (creation stories):
In art, we used charcoal to make our own drawings in the style of cave paintings:
In D&T, we have made slingshot cars.
With Year 6, we learned to play ChopChop and took part in a competition.
In science, we have learned about electricity, and we used our knowledge of conductors, insulators and circuits to make our own switches.
We have had lots of visitors from our local high school (STB). In our science lesson, we learned about density.
